Saint Francis Resort
A hidden jewel of the Bahamian Out Islands, located on amazing Stocking Island, a 10 minute boat ride from Georgetown on Great Exuma, the Bahamas. The resort includes 8 full service spacious ocean front Bungalows, a 125ft Mega Yacht with 5 cabins, a restaurant and bar as well as a marina and moorings. Daily jet service into George Town from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Nassau and other Bahamian out islands. Slightly more than a mile off George Town's shore lies Stocking Island. The 4-mile-long island has only 10 inhabitants, lots of walking trails, a gorgeous white beach rich in seashells and popular with surfers on the ocean side, and plenty of good snorkeling sites. Jacques Cousteau's team is said to have traveled some 1,700 feet into Mystery Cave, a blue-hole grotto 70 feet beneath the island. Stocking Island is the headquarters for the wildly popular George Town Cruising Regatta
Saint Francis Resort is located on Stocking Island, a hidden jewel located in the central Bahamas. Situated just off Great Exuma Island, the largest of the 350 Exuma island archipelago, Saint Francis Resort is just a five minute water taxi ride from the mainland.
Saint Francis Resort offers a 3 mile white-sand beach for your enjoyment, as well as a variety of water activities including snorkeling on Exuma's most wonderful reefs, Hobie Cat sailing from island to island, and kayaking around Stocking Island's blue holes, a network of underwater caves. We have been described by our guests as friendly, hip, sophisticated and cool--we hope that you will enjoy our natural ambience! What separates us from the competition is our somewhat remote location on Stocking Island, only 10 mins from civilization but feels like you could be a million miles from the hubub-so tranquil, quiet, idyllic and laid back and what of the color of the seas surrounding Stocking Island?

There’s no water in the world as beautiful as The Bahamas. Astronauts have remarked on its beauty from space. Scuba divers report consistent visibility up to 200 feet. You’ll struggle to find the words to capture its beauty – is it Gatorade blue? A mix of Crayolas? Live in the moment......
